Girl with Bookshelves

Our Story

After completing her undergraduate work at Fordham University, Gabrielle L. Olczak was awarded a scholarship as a Publishing Studies Fellow, and received her Master's Degree at New York University, specializing in Marketing Management in Book and Magazine Publishing.  She had her own column at MagazineWeek, a industry trade, as well as experience at publishing houses such as Ziff Davis, CMP, Sigs, and FAMA.

For a dozen years, Gabrielle was the Founding Editor and Publisher at Toddler Times Magazine and Parent Times Magazine in New York, and then for a number of years in New Jersey.  Serving as a public school librarian, grade school teacher, and still now a part-time preschool teacher, she knows what children want.  Gabby has developed and cultivated a number of email lists and strong industry relationships.

As an editor, Gabrielle is always on the search for great content to share with others. President of the Independent Press Award (every spring) and New York City Big Book Award (every fall), Gabby also interviews award-winning authors on her www.theGABTALKS.com site, which streams on over 30 services including Spotify, Apple, Audible, iHeartRadio, RadioPublic and Pandora.  â€‹
